Pharmacy Inventory Module
This module covers all aspects of drug and non-drug supply management at the
medicalstores in the hospital, sub-store, counter or a "point of service". It involves:
- Procurement
· Generate a recommended purchase list, monitoring the budget allocation
and financial provisions
· Place order through integration with pharmacy systems and any other system, if necessary
- Storage
· Manage stock in accordance with the procedure practice in Hospital store
management
· Identify the stock location, the product group number, expiry date
· Generate reports and statistics related to the inventory activities
- Supply
· Online ordering from the departments requesting a drug
· Automatic replenishment
· Release note handling
- Pre-Packaging
· Keep record on drug pre-packaging information
· Generate Barcode label and warning label, if necessary
· Provide worksheet and work activities report
· Provide inventory function for stock pre-packaging
- Drug Recall
· Identify and alert the affected drugs in the requestor unit or patient for drug
recall
· Monitor the status of the replacement stock
Clinical Pharmacokinetic Services Module
This module includes the monitoring activities for those patients taking the Low
Therapeutic Index drugs and certain poisonous drugs.
· Automatically list down the test request for patient from ward
· All requests to be filtered by chief pharmacist before the analysis is
performed
· This module can generate test results if the tests performed in the
pharmacy (Pharmacy Based Analysis)
· Generate the patient’s test results from the Laboratories that require further
interpretation services from chief pharmacist (Lab Based Analysis)
· Generate calculation of the formula or interface with Kinetidex samples
application system
Medication Error (ME) Reporting and Adverse Drug Reaction (ADR)
Monitoring Module
This module contains the following two activities:
a. Medication Error (ME) Reporting Module
b. Adverse Drug Reaction (ADR) Monitoring Module
This module is used by all healthcare providers to report their incidents on ME
and ADR. ME and ADR reports can only be accessed by superusers or
authorized officers for the reports (Authorised personnel).
A. Medication Error (ME) Reporting Module
· Online delivery of medication error report
· Review reports submitted. Contact the reporters for more information if
necessary.
· Send reports to Medication Safety Center (MedSC), either online or
manually
· Generate database and reports for Medication Error (ME),
Adverse Drug Reaction (ADR) Monitoring Module
· Online delivery of potential ARD incident report
· Record the ADR incident and send it online to authorities
· Build the database for ADR cases
Data Mining and Reporting Module
· Provide other reports, statistics and statistical analysis according to the
needs of each module.
